Important notes for conversion

Before you start:

First thing is to keep in mind that a picture SMS is only 72*28 pixels in size. Also there is no color, just Black&White. Therefore you need as a starting point a photo with a high level of contrast to get the best possible results.

If you have a person photographed e.g. in a dark night club you may have problems to get a good picture, a photo taken in good lighting conditions against a bright background will lead always to good results.

Other important point is to play with the brightness and contrast settings. Try various constellations to get a good picture SMS. Sometimes you need quite extreme settings for these values! Switch off the "dithering" option in the menu if you have a very bright or very dark picture - this may lead to better results.
